About The Shop Hop 

Do you love fabric? We do too. A group of local shop owners decided to get together for a weekend of fabric shopping that is now legendary for all those who participated. By enthusiastic shopper demand, the Austin Fabric Shop Hop has become a bi-annual event happening in the Spring and Summer.

The Shop Hop is three days of fabric glee! During this 3-day weekend-long shopping extravaganza you'll be able to shop special extended hours in all the participating fabric shops, and have access to online stores not normally open to the public. In addition, participating stores were hand selected to provide a diverse, but complimentary blend of fabric and design.  Here's what to expect:

  • Apparel fabric
  • Premium quilting cottons
  • Japanese import fabric
  • Interior fabrics, supplies and trim
  • Gifts and home decor
  • Notions, buttons, trim, ribbon, wool felt, books, patterns, embroidery supplies and tools
  • Shops that offer classes, sewing machine repair, special orders and upholstery services

Details

Shoppers will need a passport to receive a 20% discount at each of the stores. A passports cost $5.00 and can be purchased and picked prior to the start of the event. Along with a passport you'll receive a reusable canvas Austin Fabric Shop Hop shopping tote (one bag per passport purchase) filled with swag provided by local stores. Bring your passport and the tote with you to each store.

PASSPORT STAMPS = GREAT GIVEAWAYS - Be sure to get your passport card stamped at each store. You must get them all to be eligible to win the big.
